Super 30 Box Office Day 1: The Hrithik Roshan Starrer Opens With 11.83 crores!

Hrithik Roshan had been off the big screen for over two years now. He was last seen in Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam in January 2017. While news of him signing films had been doing the rounds, fans were disappointed for having missed him for so long in action. But now that his film, Super 30 had released on Friday, trade analysts hoped that fans would flock the theatres and the film would receive a good opening. However, the numbers have been a little disappointing.

Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 had opened at 11.83 crores on Day 1, i.e., on Friday. Given the film had its advance booking open since Monday and it had a good advance booking, the numbers were expected to be bigger. The fact that the film worked in the metropolis, and especially in Mumbai and suburbs, but remained dull in most of the mass pockets is disappointing.

The film will hopefully grow given that the weekend is here. The weekend collections would be crucial to determine how the film will overall fare at the box-office.

Super 30 is a film that has been inspired from the life of Bihar’s popular teacher, Anand Kumar and his classes. Super 30 also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
