Tiger Shroff Joins Ranveer, Varun, Arjun, Sidharth, Sushant, Kartik As The 100 Crore Club Star

With just his fifth film, Tiger Shroff has emerged as one of the youngest stars to join the 100 Crore Club. Baaghi 2 has comfortably gone past the century mark and with this Tiger has joined the ranks of young stars like Ranveer Singh , Varun Dhawan , Arjun Kapoor , Sidharth Malhotra, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aryan who have a 100 Crore Club film to their name.

"It was always on the cards for Tiger and as a matter of fact it could well have been a bit earlier too," says a trade veteran, "After scoring half a century with his debut film Heropanti , he went ahead and scored an even bigger success with Baaghi. However, things didn't fall into place well for him with A Flying Jatt and Munna Michael which gave him a jolt. However, all is well that ends well as he has now bounced back in a major way with Baaghi 2. The film is a bonafide Superhit already and we could well be looking at a Blockbuster here for Tiger."

With many of his peers already in the 100 Crore Club, Tiger now has some sort of burden off his shoulders when it comes to scoring a biggie as well.

He continues, "Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan are in a different zone altogether though since former has scored big in numbers whereas latter has been most consistent. Ranveer has three centuries to his name, each with Sanjay Leela Bhansali [ Ram Leela , Bajirao Mastani , Padmaavat] whereas Varun Dhawan four already [ABCD - Any Body Can Dance 2, Judwaa 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dilwale]."

"Then there is Arjun Kapoor with one century [2 States ] and Sidharth Malhotra follows too with one [ Ek Villain ]. Sushant Singh Rajput too has scored a big one with MS Dhoni - The Untold Story while Kartik Aryan has just opened his account with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety," he adds.

Incidentally, each of the biggies scored by Tiger has been with producer Sajid Nadiadwala .

"After giving him a break with Heropanti, Sajid has been investing on the youngster on a consistent basis with films like Baaghi and Baaghi 2. In fact he has also announced his plans for Baaghi 3. He is a huge influencer when it comes to directing Tiger's career in the right direction," a close associate adds.

Now one waits to see how big do the other films starring Tiger Shroff turn out to be in time to come.

"He has a biggie lined up later this year in the form of Student of the Year 2," says an industry insider, "Then there is Rambo and also the film where he is joining hands with Hrithik Roshan . Action would play a major role in each of these films."

The stage has been set for Tiger Shroff already and now it is a matter of time before he starts scoring even bigger and matter.
