War Box-Office Day 11 v/s The Sky Is Pink Box-Office Day 2: Hrithik-Tiger’s Action Extravaganza Seems To Dominate Priyanka And Farhan’s Emotional Saga

After creating history with the opening day collection, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War seems to be dominating the box-office and is no mood to slow down. On Saturday, the film marked its 11^th day in the theatres and managed to rake in about 11 crores. With this, the total collection of War now stands at Rs. 256 crores including the Tamil and Telugu collections.

While War seems to be raging a war at the box-office, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar hit the screens last Friday and was off to a lukewarm start with just Rs.2.50 crores. On Saturday, the film managed to jump a little and raked in about Rs. 4 crores. However, things are looking up for the Shonali Bose directorial as the advance bookings on Sunday has shown a considerable increase.

With no apparent threat from The Sky Is Pink, War is surely going to continue its pace at the box-office till Diwali and has every possibility of entering the coveted Rs. 300 crores club. On Diwali, the box-office would be divided between Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh and Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer Made In China.
