War Day 1 Box-Office: The Hrithik Roshan -Tiger Shroff Combo Smashes All Records, Opens At Rs. 53.35 Crores!

The moment War had been announced, we knew that it would be a smasher of records. Trade analysts and the aam janta had anticipated that this would be a big film and thanks to the 2^nd October release, it would definitely have a massive opening. But whether it would be able to break the record set by Thugs Of Hindostan or Avengers: Endgame was yet to be seen. Well, for those waiting eagerly to know if the film could set new records, well yes, it just did!

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War has opened to a massive 53.35 crores. Well, The Hindi version of the film had collected 51.60 crores while the Tamil and Telugu version collected 1.75 crores, taking the total collection to 53.35 crores.

This is a benchmark that the film has set. Earlier, the record for the highest opener was held by Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan, which had earned 52.25 crores. The Hindi version earned 50.75 crores while the Tamil and Telugu version collected 1.50 crores combined. War crossed both the collections and this is even more remarkable since the film had git much less screen than Thugs. War also surpassed Avengers: Endgame collection, that had earned 53.10 crores in India.
