Watch: Sushant Singh Rajput Danced Behind Aishwarya Rai At The 2006 Commonwealth Games, Video Viral

Sushant Singh Rajput’s rise and rise in Bollywood from being a background dancer Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe to playing the lead in movies for some of the biggest banners and filmmakers in the industry was one that many can only dream of. A video of the late actor from his initial days as a background dancer has gone viral on the internet, where he can be seen dancing behind Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the 2006 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Australia.

The actor was chosen to be a part of Shyamak Davar’s dance troupe and performed as a background dancer in 2005 at the Filmfare Awards too it was followed by him going to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Australia. The troupe performed there extending an invitation to the other nations to be a part of Commonwealth Games that India was the next hosting in 2010.

Sushant can be seen right behind Aishwarya and also helped her with one of the lifts during the performance. The actress paid her condolences to the late actor in a recent Instagram story and wrote, “Rest in peace, Sushant. Prayers and strength to your family and loved ones.”

It was also around this point in his life that he decided to quit engineering and move to Mumbai. The actor made his debut as a TV actor in 2008 and then there was no looking back for him.

Sushant died in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 at the age of 34. The police has learnt that he was battling depression.
