9 Years Of KRK: Chronicling The Self-Proclaimed Film Critic's Journey In Bollywood

Kamaal R Khan or KRK as he is popularly known, is an Indian actor, producer, and writer who has appeared in films like Ek Villain and Deshdrohi. These 2 films account for his whole filmography in Bollywood and he's switched over to rate and review films on his own social media accounts on different channels and has a number of followers who love to hear out his views on Bollywood, stars, and films.

Controversies: Always at the center of controversies, his first film Deshdrohi was released in 2008 that featured the plight of migrants from UP & Bihar who were facing harassment and violence in Mumbai. The film garnered huge controversies though it couldn't save it from tanking at the box office and most of the theatres hardly showed the films and it ended up being a box office disaster.

Deshdrohi: Some of the actors who appeared with him in Deshdrohi have completely disappeared from the face of the industry and audiences still scratch their heads over why Gracy Singh, Hrishtaa Bhatt, and Zulfi Syed decided to do a film that bad. The film was poorly acted, directed and written. The editing and camerawork are plain bad and the trailer gave the audiences the idea that its better to skip this one.

Bigg Boss :  He also appeared in the season 3 of Bigg Boss where he was the first person to be prematurely kicked out of the house due to his violent and rude behavior towards other house guests. But its this very behavior along with his habit of picking up a fight with almost everyone in the industry that has made him a king of trolls.

Film-Critic: He bashes away the films he doesn't like and gets personal with the stars on certain topics and numerous actors, actresses and directors have filed police complaints against him. The self-proclaimed film critic has a huge following on social media and people eagerly await his reviews and takes on films or various other Bollywood controversies. His views generate controversies on their own and he remains the center of attention during all of these ongoings. 

Fight Fight Fight: He has picked fights against the Khans, Sonakshi Sinha , Vikram Bhatt, and Karan Johar during the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and has made derogatory remarks against female actors. But it's his rude and misogynistic behavior that has gained him a huge number of followers and its kind of alarming to see that he continues to add followers. This shows the current state of mind of a number of people and while making fun of things and people is not bad if done in the right way, trolling and harassing is simply bad.

Future?- He continues to get a lot of traction on social media due to his antics and people seem to be enjoying the cheap thrills and entertainment he provides. But trolling and harassing others can only get you this far before it gets you into serious legal troubles and he's not facing the music legally in India as he resides in Dubai. In the end, it is up to the audiences and people to decide what kind of community they want to be a part of.
