Amazon Prime's New Series Breathe Trailer: R Madhavan Becomes A Killer

A few days back, R Madhavan shared with his fans through social media the news that he will be starring in Amazon Prime's exclusive web series titled Breathe. The series focuses on ordinary men who go on the wrong side of the law when faced with extraordinary circumstances. Breathe is another Indian web-series on Amazon Prime after their previous venture Inside Edge received a positive reception from everyone.

The series also stars Sapna Pabbi, Amit Sadh and Neena Kulkarni in prominent roles. Breathe is an 8 episode series and will release on 26th January online. The teaser generated audience's curiosity a few days back and everyone was surprised to see R Madhavan playing a character with grey shades. Here is the trailer breakdown:

Story: The story focuses on R Madhavan who plays a character named Danny Mascarenhas and his son is suffering from a life-threatening disease. His son needs a constant supply of AB- blood group and as the blood group is rare and the hospital doesn't have enough blood, he decides to go on a murderous rampage and starts killing people who have listed themselves as organ donors and have AB- blood group.

R Madhavan: He plays a father who will do everything in his power to save his son's life. At the start of the trailer, he seems to be a typical common man but by the end of the trailer, completely transforms into a monster.

Amit Sadh: He plays Kabir Sawant, an officer with Crime Branch of Mumbai Police who is fighting his own demons. From the trailer, we can see that his daughter accidentally shot herself with his revolver and he blames himself for the loss. He is on the heels of Danny who he thinks is a suspect.

Edge of the Seat Thriller: The series promises to be an edge of seat thriller and the trailer is full of moments which keeps the audiences hooked to the screen.

Theme: The series explores multiple themes at once, prominently amongst them are how far a parent would go to save their children and what happens when a common man decides to go against the law and takes the matter in his own hands. Madhavan's character wants to save his kid while Amit Sadh's character suffers from the loss of his little girl.
