Angrezi Medium’s Ek Zindagi Song Beautifully Captures The Father-Daughter Relationship Shared By Irrfan Khan And Radhika Madan

The first song from Angrezi Medium is here and it is a recreation of the Ek Jindari Meri song from the previous film of the franchise, Hindi Medium. But well, unlike most recreations, this one beautifully retains the feel of the older version and still has something new to offer!

The song shows the relationship that the father and the daughter, played by Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan, share in the film. We realise that the father is a middle class man but the daughter is a good student with big dreams. While the daughter has to work hard to fulfil her dreams, the father silently puts in his everything to be able to help his daughter chase her dreams of going to a college in London. But how far would he be able to go.

The song also shows us a glimpse of another relationship- the one that Radhika Madan’s character shares with her classmate.

 Her father suspects him to be her boyfriend, but after he sees how much he is putting in to help her, Irrfan Khan’s character accepts him and that single scene where he gives chai to him would bring a smile on your faces.
