Ayushmann Khurrana And Sanya Malhotra’s Badhai Ho Trailer Will Make You Uncomfortable And Roll On Floor With Laughter
The trailer of yet another Ayushmann Khurrana film is out. After Andhadhun, the trailer of Badhai Ho has released today. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film stars Ayushmann Khuarrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in pivotal role and will hit the theatres on 19th October. Based on a really hilarious premise, the trailer is truly one of a kind and here is what we thought about it.
It Makes You Uncomfortable While Making You Laugh
The films is bases on a hilarious premise. Ayushmann who seems to be in his 20s comes to know that his parents are expecting a baby. In a middle class neighborhood of Delhi, this ‘unexpected’turn of events gives rise to several situations that part awkward and part uproariously hilarious. While it addresses one topic that we do not like to address no matter what, the fact that our parents can be sexually active, it does so with a certain light-heartedness that makes us wonder why no one decided to make a film about this topic before.
Ayushmann Khurrana And Sanya Malhotra’s Chemistry Is To Die For
The film is bringing Ayushmann Khuarrana And Sanya Malhotra on the screen together for the first time. If the trailer is anything to go by, they have a really easy and crackling chemistry. Given both the stars are quite strong individual performers, we are seriously excited to see them together.
Strong Supporting Cast
Apart from the lead pair, the film also has a very strong supporting cast. Veteran actors Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta, who is playing the role which is a testament of her uninhibited courage, looks fantastic. Dealing with one awkward situation after another, these two might just turn out to be more popular than the lead pair itself once the film comes out. Apart from that Surekha Sikhri and Sheeba Chaddha also seems to be totally in their elements.
What Is With Ayushmann Khurana and Human Reproduction
What is with Ayushmann Khurrana and his love for all things below the belt? From his first film Vicky Donor to Shubh Mangal Savdhaan last year and now this seems like Ayushmann is the go-to person for any film related to reproduction perhaps. But jokes apart, Ayushmann has time and again proved that he is the actor who would take roles that everyone else would find supremely uncomfortable.
Major Vicky Donor Vibes
Ayushmann Khurrana, an awkward but very real social situation and the backdrop of Delhi, it is obvious that the film will remind us a lot of Vicky Donor. From the lingo to the clever mix of uncomfortable situation and genuine comedy, this film might become for old age pregnancy what Vicky Donor was to sperm donation or Shubh Mangal Savadhaan to erectile dysfunction.
