The Trailer For Ishaan Khattar's Beyond The Clouds Explores Life And Human Relationships

Renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's debut in Hindi cinema titled Beyond The Clouds is scheduled to hit theatres on 23rd March in India. The film has been making noise for all the right reasons and has received critical acclaim at various film festivals. The film marks the cinematic debut of Shahid Kapoor 's brother, Ishaan Khattar who will also be seen in Dhadak later this year which will be his Bollywood debut.

Majidi is an ardent fan of Indian cinema and adores the works of Satyajit Ray. He was always amazed by the rich cultural heritage of India and wanted to make a film on love, human relationships set in India. He personally chose Ishaan Khattar for the leading role and thinks that he is going to be a huge star. Here is the trailer breakdown for Beyond The Clouds:

Story: The film focuses on the story of 2 siblings, Amir and Tara who reside in the slums of Mumbai. There is a strong bond between them and both stand for each other all the time. Amir wants to make it big in life and does odd jobs before coming in contact with drug dealers. After someone snitches on him, Tara ends up in prison and Amir seeks vengeance. 

Direction: Majid Majidi is known for directing films which intricately explore the relationships between humans and has won numerous awards internationally for his films like Baran, Children of Men and Song of Sparrows.

Themes: The trailer promises a film which deals with themes of family, sibling relationship, love and adoration amid all the hardships of life. How humans survive through the darkest of travesties through their sheer bravery, confidence and faith in themselves & their loved ones will be explored in the film.

Actors: Ishaan Khattar will make his cinematic debut with the film and the reviews are highly positive for the film and its cast from the film-festivals. Malavika Mohanan stars as Tara, the sibling who wrongly ends up in jail. Earlier, Deepika Padukone was considered for the role but Majidi decided to cast Mohanan instead.
