The first song from Bhoot The Haunted Ship is here. Called Channa Ve, this one has no scares or any bhoot for that matter. This one is a romantic song that gives us a glimpse of Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar’s chemistry and the tragedy that befell on Vicky Kaushal’s character.

Channa Ve can be very simply described as the song that shows what Prithvi’s personal life is like. The surveying officer of Sea Bird, Vicky Kaushal’s character has been stuck by tragedy in his personal life. It shows that he had a wife, played by Bhumi Pednekar. They had eloped and gotten married.

In fact, they even had a daughter and theirs had been a happy family, unless one day tragedy struck when they had gone for rafting. Yes, he lost both his wife and his daughter.

The song is not a remix and that, we believe, is enough for us now to be a little happier. This is a happy and beautifully sung romantic track, that makes for a perfect Valentine Week release. But what is best here is the chemistry that Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar share. Their chemistry is not crackling, but easy and spontaneous and beautiful.
