Durgamati Trailer: Bhumi Pednekar Transforms Into A Ghost Queen In The Remake Of Bhaagamathie; Watch

Bhumi Pednekar's Durgamati had been one of the keenly awaited films of the year. The official Hindi remake of Bhaagammathie, the film would see her step into Anushka Shetty's shoes. Thankfully, it is also one of the 2020 releases, which is actually releasing this year itself, though on OTT. And now, the trailer of the film is out as well.

The trailer of Durgamati release today and in it, we can see IAS Chanchal, played by Bhumi Pednekar, transform into a ghost queen who seeks revenge and is here to take 'hisaab'. She is a jailed IAS, brought out for interrogation by police to be able to capture a politician (played by Arshad Warsi) who is considered as God. He needs to be brought down, so that others can go up and thus, to avoid public eyes, Chanchal is taken to the 'Durgamati Haveli' to testify against him.

But, what they did not see coming was the supernatural activity, and finally, Chanchal being taken over by Durgamati.

The trailer would definitely remind you of the original and with the film opting for OTT release, the only question that comes to our mind is whether we really needed what looks like a scene-by-scene remake of Bhaagamathie which is already there on OTT. Well, check out the trailer here:
