The Trailer For Ittefaq: It Happened One Night Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine With It's Suspense

The trailer just landed for the upcoming suspense-thriller Ittefaq : It Happened One Night starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna . The film is directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment .  The trailer shows the 2 characters Vikram and Maya who recount their stories to police officer Dev regarding 2 murders for which they are also the prime suspects.

Remake- The film is an adaptation of the 1969 film of the same name that starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Bindu in lead roles. It was directed by Yash Chopra and was a semi-hit at the box office. People appreciated the film for its story, acting and thrilling narrative.

Suspense-Thriller- The trailer promises a film full of suspense where the audiences are kept on toes regarding any character’s particular motives. The eerie background music sends the chills down the spine and the trailer does make us question who the killer is.

Sidharth Malhotra - He plays the role of Vikram, an acclaimed writer. Rajesh Khanna played the lead in original as the painter Dev. Vikram is accused of killing his wife Catherine Sethi and lawyer Vikram Sinha.

Sonakshi Sinha- She plays the role of Maya, a home-maker. Nanda played the role in original film as Rekha . She is accused of murdering her husband as well and the police have a hard time believing her version.

Akshaye Khanna- He seems to be having fun as the no-nonsense police officer Dev. He is a tough guy who intimidates Vikram by saying, “tumhare jaise bhutte roz sekte hain hum”. He has the hardest job as he has to find the truth and nab the killer.
