A few days back, Richa Chadha had commanded our attention with her first look from Subhash Kapoor's upcoming film, Madam Chief Minister. Today, the trailer of the film is out and it shows the actress play a feisty and unflinching politician who would go to any extent and make any sacrifice to serve her people.

Richa plays a girl who had run away from her home and was taken under the wings of 'masterji', played by Saurabh Shukla. With his ideals, she contests the election and wins it to become the chief minister. But, the position comes with a price tag! Her ideals land her into trouble and her own party members begin to oppose her. Moves go wrong, and her family is under the radar of those who want to harm her! Richa looks undaunting. It is a treat to see how she transformed into a politician after playing Shakeela in her last outing of the same name. The film also boasts of other powerhouses of talent like Manav Kaul and Akshay Oberoi. However, the trailer simply gave away a lot- almost everything.

The film will head for a theatrical release on the 22nd of January!
