Make Way For The Indianised Uptown Funk With Rappan Rappi Rap From Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota!

For a lot of you out there, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota might already have stirred some interest. The film, that will feature newcomer Abhimanyu Dassani and Tv to Bollywood transitioner Radhika Madan. While the goof factor of the film, coupled with the perfect action sequences have already been winning the hearts of the internet generation, the first song from the film is already here to increase the excitement.

Called Rappan Rappi Rap, this seems to be India's answer to Uptown Funk, plus a lot of 90s nostalgia. Yes, there are references right from "Aaja meri spaceship pe baith ja" to "Hema, Rekha Jaya, Sushma". This looks like a tribute to everything that made the lives of every 90s kid iconic and colorful.

The song itself is quite colorful and the special video has been shot in just a day. It looks funky and nice and even though the lyrics will feel gibberish, you will relate to every effing thing here. The best part about this song is the freshness that it has and we just can't get over the pep that Benny Dayal's voice has lent to the song.
