Marjaavaan’s Haiyya Ho Song: Rakul Preet Singh Lights Up The Rather Bland Extended Magic Moments Commercial!

Marjaavaan will hit the theatres in another 20 days or so and before that, the makers have decided to tease up with yet another song. And this one, rather than having Tara Sutaria in it, is banking on Rakul Preet Singh and her ‘katilaana adayein’. Yes, we are talking about the item number from the film- Haiyya Ho.

Haiyya Ho begins with a dialogue that twists the ‘Salaam-e-ishq’ lyrics, with the classic Milap Zaveri touch, and that might be enough to make you bang your head. But you would want to wait and watch what really would this song has to offer!

Well, it does bring out probably one of the vivacious versions of Rakul Preet Singh that we have ever seen. But then is it worth watching her in this almost 2 minutes of extended Magic Moments ad?

The entire song is about how Rakul Preet’s character is longing for Sidharth Malhotra, while he is just immersed in the thoughts of his dead wife, played by Tara Sutaria, who he had killed himself.

And to do it, the makers have royally destroyed the Laxmikant-Pyarelaal’s original song from Dayavan. Well, this song, according to us, adds to the list of remix that we had neither asked for, nor need and would rather have been happy if it did not exist. Check out the song here:
