Sanya Malhotra has always taken us by surprise, not just with her performances but also with her choice of films. The actress, who was last seen in Ludo opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, is all set to play yet another absolutely different character. This time, she would play a young widow who is unable to cry after her husband passes away few years into the marriage. We are talking about Pagglait, whose teaser released today.

In the teaser, we see Sanya transform into Sandhya, a young widow, whose husband passed away just 5 months after their wedding. While people around her are breaking down, consoling her and posting RIP messages on social media, Sandhya looks largely unaffected. In fact, she recalls how she had cried for days and did not even feel hungry when her cat had tragically passed away, but surprisingly she does not feel any such thing now!

This looks interesting, and we can understand that the film would be about Sandhya embarking on a journey of self-introspection to film herself! The film would be releasing directly on Netflix and would stream from 26th March.
