    Is Rani Mukerji's Comeback Film 'Hichki' Copied From This Hollywood Film?

    Rani Mukherjee is all set to return to the silver screen with a bang post her maternity break. She had already created a lasting impact with Mardaani in which she played a tough and no-nonsense cop. Now she will be back as a teacher in Hichki, but she is no ordinary teacher. She sufferers from Tourette Syndrome, which makes it even more difficult for her to convince that she can be a good teacher.

    The trailer of the film released today and it was brilliant. It showed Rani in her top form. But the trailer of the film also reminded us of a Hollywood film that had a kind of similar subject.

    A film about Tourette syndrome can exist in another language too. But what struck us was the fact that the lead character in both the film plays a teacher who i.s being rejected because he/she suffers from Tourette syndrome. And finally, they are given a chance to prove themselves, where they emerge as winners.

    Well, the beginning of the Hichki trailer looks exactly the same. But the only point of difference seems to the children who are being assigned to Rani's Naina. But is the basic premise copied? Well check out the Hichki trailer here and let us know:
