Satyameva Jayate Trailer: This John Abraham Starrer Is Overdosed On Action And Dialogues

The trailer of John Abraham's upcoming release Satyameva Jayate was released a while back and the film is scheduled to release on 15th August 2018. Akshay Kumar's Gold is also scheduled for an Independence Day release and both films will clash at the box-office. Aisha Sharma will be debuting in Bollywood as the leading lady.

The film is directed by Milap Zaveri who has directed films like Mastizaade and written dialogues and stories of films like Hate Story, Grand Masti and Shootout at Wadala. Manoj Bajpayee also stars in the film alongside John and the film also has recreated the song Dilbar Dilbar from Sirf Tum. Here is the trailer breakdown:

Story: The trailer gives out the whole premise of the film. John's father was an honest policeman who was devoured by the corruption and the corrupt officials and later committed suicide. John is also a policeman who has vowed to get his father's name cleared. 

Vigilante: The policeman John moonlights as a serial killer who kills anyone who is corrupt and is related to the group of people who were responsible for the death of his father. The thing is that the police force doesn't know that the killer they are looking for is one of them.

On a mission: Hellbent on getting revenge and get his father's name cleared of the corruption charges, John is a cop/killer who will stop at nothing. While the trailer also has John mouthing overtly patriotic dialogues and how we will kill every corrupt person.

Hulking it out: Now, John is in the leagues of Salman Khan and fans expect him to take off his shirt and fight the bad guys. The non-stop action has people being burnt and beaten to death while some physics and logic-defying scenes are just for John's fans. 

Manoj Bajpayee: He seems to continue his role from Aiyaary, the difference is just that now he's chasing John Abraham instead of Sidharth Malhotra. He also gets to mouth some cheesy dialogues while chasing the killer. 

Pleasing the current government: The trailer looks like a service to the government as popular slogans like Achhe Din and 56 Inch Ka Seena are uttered like anything.
