Shakuntala Devi's Rani Hindustani Song: Vidya Balan Adapts To The English Culture While Staying Connected To Her Indian Roots

The second song from Shakuntala Devi is here. After Paas Nahi To Fail Nahi, we have the Rani Hindustani song that shows how Shakuntala Devi, portrayed by the talented Vidya Balan not just adapted but also got an up over the English Culture, while staying connected and true to her Indian roots.

In the video, we can see Shakuntala Devi's interaction with an English man who teaches her the English way of life. The video begins with her acing an English tongue twister while being perfect with the Hindi one. While the man tries to get her a hang of the English culture and gives her books to read, we see her staying to true Indian roots. She does get rid of the braid but gets comfortable in both dresses and sarees. And the line 'England ki rani koi bhi ho, duniya ki rani Hindustani' perfectly sums it up.

The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and the lyrics are by Vayu. The music is by Sachin-Jigar. The film is all set to release on 31st July and will have a digital clash with Kunal Khemu's Lootcase and Raat Akeli Hai which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte.
