Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’s Arey Pyaar Kar Le Song: Ayushmann Goes Retro; Bappi Lahiri Has A Cameo!

Yet another song from Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is here and this time, it is the  remix of the classic Bappi Lahiri song, ‘Yaar Bina Chain Kaha Re.’ Called ‘Arey Pyaar Kar le’, this has Ayushmann proudly declare ‘aadmi hoon aadmi se pyaar karta hoon’, while Bappi Lahiri himself arrives to give his blessings.

We had all been aware that yet another old classic would be remixed for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and it would be the ‘Yaar Bina Chain Kaha Re’ song. In fact, the makers shared the look of the entire cast in retro outfits that took us back straight to the 80s! The song is here and it gives a twist to the ladka-ladki wala pyaar as Ayushmaan says that Jack might not always go to the hill with Jill, but might also have Johny to accompany him too.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Jeetendra Kumar colour co-ordinate as they shake a leg to this ‘unisex’ song while the rest of the family looks on. Ayushmann has us all grooving with his moves and his energy.

But what we loved the most here was Bappi Lahiri’s cameo. Yes, the singer was himself present in the song, as if giving Ashirwaad to the couple!

Even though it’s a remix, it retains the flavour of the original. Yes, there is a rap at the beginning, but you might be able to deal with it. Check out the song here:
