The Zoya Factor Trailer: Sonam Kapoor And Dulquer Salmaan Starrer Promises A Glitzy Rom-Com, With Cricket As The Backdrop!

Thanks to changing taste of the Indian audiences now, we have a number of different genres of films that are ruling the box-office. These are genres, like biopics or stories based on real life events, that filmmakers would not risk their career with even a decade back. And due to this, rom coms have taken quite a backseat!

Well, nowadays, audiences would not be satisfied with just a rom-com as well. We need something more, something extra! So here it is- Sonam Kapoor is all set to be back on-screen with a rom-com. She will be romancing Malayalam cinema hottie, Dulquer Salmaan, who made his debut last year with Karvaan. And if you are thinking what extra it will have- that would be cricket which will run in the backdrop!

The trailer of Sonam and Dulquer’s Zoya Factor is here and truth be told, it looks just as glitzy as you can imagine it to be. Sonam is slipping into her Khubsoorat avatar- being the over enthusiastic, talkative, fashionable and overtly outgoing girl. This time too she is just as peppy as Zoya.

And she has a charmer of a man opposite her, who would, as usual, fall in love with her!

Dulquer Salmaan looks more suave and hotter than before. He plays the Captain of the Indian cricket team and he can make you drool as much as you want!

The story is about Zoya Solanki, whose birth was right at the time when India won the World Cup in 1983. This made her father believe that she is going to be lucky. Chanced encounters with the Indian Cricket team and their subsequent wins makes everyone think that she indeed is lucky for the team, and the adventure starts off from there! The story is based on Anuja Chauhan's bestseller of the same name!

It’s glitzy, it looks bright and has everything that you expect in a rom-com. There is also a point of suspense, as to what will finally bethe fate of Zoya, that will excite you to go to the theatres. Check out the trailer here:
