Tiger Zinda Hai Trailer: Salman Khan Hunts Like a Wounded Tiger

Finally, Yash Raj Films has released the trailer for the most awaited film of the year, Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is the sequel to the Kabir Khan directed blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger that featured Salman Khan as the eponymous Tiger, an Indian superspy and Katrina Kaif as Zoya, an ISI Agent in the lead roles. The film was broke numerous box office records upon its release and was the highest grossing film of 2012.

A sequel was obvious as the audiences were interested in the story of Tiger and Zoya. Ali Abbas Zaffar, who directed Salman Khan in Sultan takes over the director's chair and has also provided the story of the film. Now, what remains to be seen is how many records this film breaks and establishes. The first look was already creating a lot of noise and let's see what the trailer has in store for viewers:

Story- The film is inspired by true events and the trailer opens in Iraq, where a group of 25 Indian nurses on a humanitarian mission is kidnapped by an ISISesque outfit. An international incident is created and the government decides to plan a rescue operation led by the superspy Tiger.

Tiger- The trailer also shows Tiger on a mission amongst the snow-capped mountains. He is seen using his impressive set of skills and words to get past the enemy and also teams up with Zoya to defeat the terrorist outfit and save the nurses.

Zoya- Katrina Kaif also reprises her role as the Pakistani spy Zoya. She is on the battlefield for her country and wants everyone to know that they also want peace.

Indo-Pak Team Up- As is the case on both side of the borders, the film also spreads the message of peaceful co-existence and fighting the common enemy i.e. terrorism. Erdal Beşikçioğlu, the Turkish actor plays the main baddie, the head of the terrorist organization.

Big Boom Action- The trailer promises a number of action scenes and the film is produced on an expensive budget of over 100 Crores. A lot action seems to be unfolding in a war zone with armies, spies, locals and the terrorists clashing.

Director- Ali Abbas Zafar directs Salman Khan again after the stupendous success of Sultan and it seems the duo will again set the box office on fire. Sultan grossed 300 crores in India and whether Tiger Zinda Hai crosses this mark would be interesting to see.

Bhai's Swagger- Salman Khan is doing what he does best, beating up bad guys and mouthing one-liners like any superspy. Only he can use a stool as a weapon while riding a horse against a machine gun-wielding terrorist on a bike! He will also be seen romancing Katrina Kaif and the fans are over the moon on this Jodi.
