Total Dhamaal Trailer Fails To Pack A Solid Punch With Lame And Dated Jokes!

First, there was Dhamaal. Then, there was Double Dhamaal. And since both of the films were successful, the makers did what everyone else had been doing- made it a franchise. Therefore, now, we will have a third film with an even bigger cast and more gorgeous set- Total Dhamaal.

The announcement of the film had generated some expectations in us. For starters, the film would see the reunion of the hit on-screen pair of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. And this time though Sanjay Dutt and Ashish Chaudhary were missing, there were stars like Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Mishra, Johny Lever and even Esha Gupta. But this film, that is promising the wildest adventure ever, has a rather dull trailer.

The plot of this film remains the same as the first film, but is tweaked a little of course. This is a treasure hunt where the competitors would be fighting and making friends with CGI animals as well as Crystal, the real monkey. So needless to say, you will have a gorilla and a lion, just like every other slapstick comedy.

The jokes in the trailer fail to induce laughter and look like a forced attempt to make us laugh. Of course at a time when films like Stree had been winning our hearts, this trailer looks extremely dated and dull. Except for Javed Jaffrey, no one looks convincing.
