    What happened when Karan Johar saw Varun for the first time?

    He was at a hotel parading around in his tiny swimming shorts and Karan thought he was a bit of an exhibitionist. However, Varun says he was doing so because there were a lot of girls around of his age and he had no clue that Karan was there. That’s when Karan knew that he was an actor material.

    After Rohit Shetty ’s Dilwale tanked for the critics and audience despite a great collection, Rohit Dhawan, Varun’s brother and his friend actor Arjun Kapoor made him feel miserable by showing hims the movie again, telling him how bad he was. 

    When he overacted in the death scene in Badlapur

    Varun was really charged that he was doing a death scene, and he added extra energy and almost shook the bed and yelled. A few patients around came out to see what was wrong. The director then brought in two people who had lost their loved ones to depress Varun and make him act better.

    One role that he wants to do

    “I want to scare the living daylights out of people!” says Varun as he explains why he wants to play a ghost now.

    “Life is like a toast, if you heat it too much, it’ll burn! So chill out!” 

    When David made Varun cry!

    During Main Tera Hero , David used to insult him and Varun used to cry back home to his mother for feeling bad. Even his brother makes him feel that he doesn’t know anything and the only person who supports him is Anupam Kher . David doesn’t treat him like a son.
