Here's Why The Ajay Devgn-Kajol Episode Of Koffee With Karan Is One Of The Most Banterous Episodes, Ever!

The Koffee With Karan Episode is probably one of the best of the season!

2016 had been a rough year for Karan Johar. This was the same year that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released and became a superhit. But, it was also the same year that there were a number of problems before the release of the film. 2016 was also the year where Karan Johar came out and spoke openly about his spat with BFF Kajol and went to the extent of saying that they can never be friends again. He also wrote in his autobiography how his relationship with Kajol soured because of her husband Ajay Devgn.

But looks like these are things of the past. Karan and Kajol are BFFs and we can see that he is even making an effort to be friends with Ajay. And thanks to the chemistry between Kajol and Karan, this episode of Koffee With Karan 6 is probably one of the most entertaining and fun episodes of the season so far.

Apart from the usual talk about the spat that Karan and Kajol had and how they just overcame it, the show was all fun. Ajay Devgn, who is mostly considered very serious, revealed so much about himself that probably every introvert and socially anxious people can relate to. What is more- Kajol just revealed that she is just like every girl out there. Here are the main highlights from the episode:

1. Ajay revealed his social anxiety, only to be dished by Kajol

Ajay Devgn revealed that he is a bit of an introvert and does not like to go out. In fact, Kajol also said that just before stepping out of the house, he would say he isn't feeling well and try and not to go anywhere. When Karan said that he might be suffering from social anxiety and that he might be having a problem, Kajol called it out and said that it might also be plain laziness because he never wants to change from his pyjama.

2. When Karan tried to be friends with Ajay, only to be scoffed by Kajol

We have all known that Ajay and Karan had never been the best of friends and Karan tried to address this and extended the hands of friendship to Ajay. 

But things to a drastic turn as Kajol came in between and told them not to try this "shit". She wanted her friends to be hers only! Possessive?

3. When Ajay revealed that she is basically every millennial girl out there

Because while they take 2 hours to get ready and pose, Kajol took around 3 hours to put filters and make changes to the pictures before posting it.

Karan and Ajay also pointed out that she has changed at her old age and even said "budhape me yeh sab", that almost made Karan spill his coffee.

4. When Ajay revealed the secret of their relationship

Ajay and Kajol are poles apart and it was quite evident in the episode. Kajol rarely let Ajay speak, and even Karan had to intervene and say, "Let him speak". But then Ajay revealed the secret of their successful relationship. When Karan asked if in the relationship Kajol is the one who talks and Ajay justs listens, he said,

"No she talks and I don't listen."

5. When Kajol revealed that she is just one of us when it comes to money

Kajol revealed that she is low maintenance and that she would rarely spend extravagant money on anything. In fact, she indulges in online shopping and buys things for as low 600 INR. In fact, she believes in putting money into FD (at this point I really thought she might be my relative)!

In fact, she is so practical that when Karan wanted to gift her a Louis Vuitton bag, she asked if the bag has compartments in the front and at the bag!

In fact, Kajol is a hoarder who is in love with the boxes instead of the gifts(she has to be my distant relative)!

6. When Ajay revealed the biggest superstion he believed

He very quickly commented to the rapid fire, 

"I believed all your K films would workuntill I did Kaal!"

7. When Kajol went on to give gaali to Ajay, because of his answers

When Ajay was asked who looks best with Kajol, he replied: "as her son?". To this Kajol not just said, "Kutta Kamina", but even said "Chappal...." to which Karan quickly hushed her!

8. When Ajay said what the biggest lie circulating in the industry is

Well, he said the biggest lie is the statement, " I love my wife"! To this Kajol said, "ghar aana hai tumhe?"

9. When Ajay forgot their Marriage anniversary and probably we will all remember it!

Yes, Ajay forgot their marriage anniversary, and Kajol was agitated as hell and shouted "24th February 1999". The intensity was such that I don't think I will ever forget it!
