Watch: Panipat’s Mard Maratha Song Is All About The Maratha 'Aan Baan Shaan'!

Arjun Kapoor starrer Panipat’s first song is here and well, it has given us some major Azeem-O-Shaan Shehenshah feels!

The first song from Panipat is here. Called Mard Maratha, the song is all about Marathas and their ‘aan baan shaan’. And like most of Ashutosh Gowarikar songs, this was one grand and majestic.

Mard Maratha is a long description about what being a Maratha embodies. They had been known as one of the fiercest fighters in the history of the nation and the song upholds the idea and the shaan of Maratha. Even though it is called Mard Maratha, the song also talks about Marathi women who can take up swords whenever necessary!

Composed by Ajay-Atul, there isn’t anything that you can complain about the music of this song. They have also lent their voice for this one, besides Sudesh Bhosle, Kunal Ganjawala, Swapnil Bandodkar and Padmanabh Gaikwad.

The picturisation though is a little disappointing. This is a song about Maratha ‘jayjaykar’ but it lacks energy. The picturisation looks very slow and tedious. The set, however, is grand but we do not get to see too much of it here because of just a few longshots.
