How By Quitting Acting And Following Her Passion Twinkle Khanna Won Us Over!

Most of us better known Twinkle Khanna as an ex Bollywood actress who is the daughter of a yester year superstar Rajesh Khanna. She made her debut opposite Bobby Deol in Barsaat(1995), this film did well on box office and she received  Filmfare best debut actor for this. She followed it up with a few more films till decided to get married and discovered that Bollywood was not really her calling.  

Now, many see her as a flop actress who quit for a more settled married life, but in reality, Twinkle was always passionately working on something she believed in and could add more value to. In fact, it is just a few years before she tied the knot with Akshay Kumar or quit movies after Mela, Twinkle had already bagged her first big project as an interior designer and took her first step as a site supervisor for a famous Mumbai architect in 1998. After that she never looked back and decided to open her own design store, The White Window in 2002, basically this store was a collaboration between Twinkle Khanna and Gurlein Manchanda, a professional interior designer. And from there she started living her dream as an interior designer, and even successfully she has managed residential, commercial, retail and hospitality design project and bagged many awards for it.  After taking back step from acting it was the biggest challenge to prove herself as an interior designer and indisputably she did it.

Twinkle Khanna likes to live her life on her own terms and that is the main reason after switching acting she proved her status brilliantly by opting her passion. She used her fame after entering the field of design. Besides this she has great passion of writing and she has written two most selling book one was Mrs. Funnybones which made her the highest selling female author of India in 2015 then after that from her second book The Legend of LaxmiPrasad which sold over one hundred thousand copies all over the world, even she won Crossword Book Awad 2016.  once again, she took challenge by taking her passion on priority and brilliantly proved her switch from acting career right.

Twinkle never fails to inspire people with her great creative energy, how she has been involved very frequently on different social events, left great impact on people. Other than this during Padman and Toilet- Ek Prem Katha release she usually has been seen on different events talking about sanitation and hygiene which was undoubtedly a great effort towards social issues. Akshay’s movie Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, once while wondering near a beach she saw a man defecating on a city beach, she shared a picture of a man and captioned the image as, "Good morning and I guess here is the first scene of Toilet Ek Prem Katha part 2." In another tweet, she said, "Exactly! The public toilet is a 7-8-minute walk from this particular spot." well it was not first time; her witty tweets are always successfully emerging with important social message. In Bollywood such personalities are very impactful who never fails to talk or stand for right and undoubtedly, she is one of them.
