Throwback Thursday: TV Actor Rohan Mehra Debuted In Bollywood 5 Years Ago This Day!

There would hardly be someone who follows TV industry closely and would not know who Rohan Mehra is. The Tv actor, who made his way to the hearts of the TV audience as Naksh Singhania in Yeh Riishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His first stint in TV was through an episodic in MTV's Webbed 2. After Yeh Rishta, he entered the TV reality show Bigg Boss and he became a household name. He is currently working in Sasural Simar Ka.

Prior to his entry in TV  in 2014, Rohan had been featured in ads like that of Reebok, Hero Cycles, Honda, Priyagold Biscuits, Samsung and BlackBerry etc. But did you know that even before he joined the TV industry, Rohan had made his debut in Bollywood.

Yes, Rohan Mehra is one of those actors who switched from the big screen to the small screen. In fact, he had debuted in 2013 on this day itself. 

Did that ring a bell? Well, Rohan was the lead in the film Sixteen, that released on 12th July, 2013. The film was about a group of teenagers and their coming of age. He played the character of Kartik. The film failed to do well at the box-office.

He then also appeared in the film Uvaa in the year 2015. This film too tanked at the box-office.

We wonder if we would ever see Rohan Mehra in Bollywood again!
