Student of the Year was released in the year 2012 and it introduced Bollywood to 3 new faces who are now well established Bollywood actors. Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt were launched by Karan Johar who also directed the film and it became a box-office hit. Not, it's being turned into a franchise. Student of the Year 2 will release later this year.
Punit Malhotra will be taking over directorial duties while the new students will be Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, and Ananya Pandey. The first look of the film has already got everyone excited and the team is currently shooting in Dehradun. Here are a few on-set pics from the film:
