5 Films Of Shah Rukh Khan That Never Got Released!

Shah Rukh Khan has been the reigning King of Bollywood for several years and today stands at a juncture where only his name is enough to drag millions of fans to the movie theatres. With several hits in his kitty, the actor has vast influence in the movie industry and he has made it there all by himself.  But it was not always the case. Even Shah Rukh Khan has had his fair share of struggle in the industry and even had some of his projects shelved after they were announced.  Here is a list of SRK movie that never saw the light of that day.

Kisi Se Dil Laga Kar Toh Dekho – Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Ayesha Jhuklka, Madhoo – The film was a 1996 project that was shot but never released for reasons unknown. The film had music by Rajesh Roshan and was directed by Kalptara.

Raashq –  Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Aishwarya Rai - It was project from 2001 and can be found in the filmography of Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai. The film was never released despite being heard of. Again The reasons for it being shelved are unknown.

Shikhar – Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit. It was a Subhash Ghai project which got shelved in 1995 after his film Trimurti flopped. He went on to direct Pardes instead but later revisited the script of Shikhar and made Taal in 1999 with Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya Rai.

Xtreme City – Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Leonardo DiCaprio. Reports were doing rounds that Shah Rukh Khan would do a film with Leonardo in 2011. Ace Hollywood director Matin Scorsese was to make the film, but it never really took off!

Ahamaq – It was 1991 film that starred Shah Rukh and was rleased at the Mumbai Film Festival MAMI in 2015. It was mini series turned into Bollywood film that never got a run at the theatres.

Besides these, the animated version of Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, that was titled Koochie Koochie Hota Hai got shelved for unknown reasons. It is being said that the third installment of his Don series has also been shelved before it’s making.
