6 Upcoming Films Of Bhumi Pednekar That Will Prove That She Can Ace Every Genre!
Bhumi Pednekar is just three films old in the industry and yet she has proved that she is here to stay with her portrayal of strong characters. In all her films, and in the Zoya Akhtar segment of Lust Story, she has played characters who are strong and has the capability of standing on their grounds, come what may. All her performances have been lauded and she has delivered hit films one after the other.
But if you had thought that Bhumi has experimented enough, then hold your breath. She is in no mood to low down and has signed films that will just prove her versatility as an actress. Check out the list of her upcoming films:
1. Sonchiriya
Bhumi Pednekar will next be seen in this dacoit drama directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film will give an insight into the lives of dacoits who are into a lookout for a 'son chiriya' or a golden bird. Bhumi will play Sushant Singh Rajput's wife in the film, that will release on 8th February 2019.
2. Dolly, Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare
The film will be a satire on modern society. This woman-centric film will be directed by Alankrita Srivastava of Lipstick Under My Burkha fame and will co-star Konkona Sensharma. The filming has been done and it will release by mid-2019.
3. Takht
Bhumi is all set to even feature on a period drama with Karan Johar's Takht. The film is a multi-starrer and her character has not yet been revealed. Takht will release in 2020.
4. Bala
Bhumi Pednekar is all set to star alongside Ayushmann Khurrana for the third time in Amar Kaushik's Bala. The film is about how people are judged based on their physical appearance. Ayushmann will be seen playing a balding man in the film that will release in 2019. The film is being produced by Dinesh Vijan.

5. Pati Patni Aur Woh
Bhumi will also be a part of the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh. The actress will play Kartik Aaryan's wife in the film and it also stars Ananya Panday.
6. Karan Johar's next Horror film
Bhumi has also apparently signed a Karan Johar film after Takht. She will be seen as the female lead of a horror film that will star Vicky Kaushal as the male lead.
