8 Bollywood Newcomers Since 2012 Who Failed To Establish Themselves In The Industry
The road to success and stardom in Bollywood is arduous, relentless and challenging and very few actors are able to establish themselves in the industry after their debuts. Some actors wait for a very long time before their work is finally appreciated and they are recognised by mainstream audiences. Actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Irrfan Khan debuted a long time back but its only recently the audiences are seeing and recognizing them.
A number of newcomers debut every year in the industry and try to make a name for themselves in the film world. The competition is highly cutthroat and these debutants go through extensive training in dance, acting and martial arts etc. to enhance their skills. Still, a number of actors haven't been to establish themselves firmly in the industry. Here are 8 Bollywood newcomers since 2012 who failed to establish themselves in the industry:
Elli AvrRam: The actress debuted in Bollywood with 2013 flop Mickey Virus and is still trying to find a firm footing in the industry.
Sooraj Pancholi: He debuted in 2015 flop 'Hero' where he was launched by Salman Khan and hasn't appeared in anything else since then.
Siddhant Kapoor: The actor debuted in 2013 film Shootout at Wadala which performed well at the box-office but since then has starred in a string of flops with latest being Haseena Parkar.
Jay Bhanushali: He debuted with Hate Story 2 which was an average performer and then starred in back to back flops Desi Kattey and Ek Paheli Leela.
Poonam Pandey: She has starred in 2 box-office disasters Nasha (her debut) and Uvaa.
Sasha Agha: She debuted opposite Arjun Kapoor in box-office flop Aurangzeb and then starred in another flop Desi Kattey.
Girish Kumar: He debuted in 2013 film Ramayia Vastavaiya which was a box-office flop and then another flop Loveshhuda in 2016.
Esha Gupta: Though she debuted with Jannat 2 which was a hit, she's been on a roller coaster ride since then.
