After Ruling 2019, Akshay Kumar Ready To Serve A Vast Variety In 2020 And 2021 With These Upcoming Films!

Akshay Kumar is the actor who has ruled 2019. He had four releases last year. While it began with Kesari, that released in Holi and went on to collect 100 crores at the box-office, he tried other genres like comedy and drama as well. Mission Mangal was released during Independence Day, Housefull 4 was released during Diwali and Good Newwz benefitted from New Year’s day. He gave back to back three 200 crore films. Well, looks like Khiladi Kumar is all set to win over 2020 and 2021 as well and his upcoming films are proof!

Akshay has signed 6 films already and well, he has taken two major holidays of this year. Let’s have a look at Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films of 2020 and 2021:

1. Sooryavanshi

Akshay Kumar is the latest addition into Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. After Singham and Simmba, Sooryavanshi is all set to fight evil and criminals. The project has made fans impatient ever since a glimpse of Akki as Sooryavanshi was shown in Simmba itself. Akshay will unleash the Khiladi in him as he will pull daredevil stunts! And what better than watching Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh come together with Akshay, even if it’s for one scene. Co starring Katrina Kaif, the film will hit the theatres on 27^th March, 2020.

2. Laxmmi Bomb

Laxmmi Bomb is the remake of the Tamil film,Kanchana . Akshay had already gotten us excited with his look from the film. In this one, he would romance Kiara Advani. The film will release on Eid 2020 and would clash with Salmnan Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

3. Prithviraj

Akshay Kumar will do a period film for the first time in his career and he would play none other than Prithviraj Chauhan in Prithviraj. The film will be directed by Dr. Chandraprakas Dwivedi. It will also mark the debut of Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar into Bollywood. The film will release this Diwali.

4. Bachchan Pandey

Akshay Kumar would collaborate with Housefull 4 director Farhad Samji for Bachchan Paney. Akshay dons an intense look in the film that co-stars Kriti Sanon. The film was to release on Chritmas, but will now release on 22^nd January. 2021.

5. Bell Bottom

Akki will feature in a spy thriller in 2021. The poster of Bell Bottom showed Akki in a 80s avatar. The film’s release has been pushed from January 2021, but would release in the first half of 2021.

6. Atrangi Re

Akshay Kumar will work with Aanand L. Rai for the first time in this film which will co-star Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Akshay had allegedly asked for 120 crores for the film, but this is just a rumour. The film will release on 14^th February, 2021.
