8 Bollywood Actors For Whom 2018 Will Be A Make Or Break Year
A number of leading actors in Bollywood today are still basking in the glory of their past successes. These actors haven't been a part of big hits for a long time now and almost every year, there is hope from fans as well as the critics that these actors will get their rhythm back. A number of reasons contribute towards multiple flops from an actor, most notably is choosing the wrong kind of films.
Also, a few actors decide to remain in their comfort zone and don't experiment with other roles and while a few actors go bonkers while experimenting. Very few actors have had the privilege of continuing their innings for a long time in Bollywood but it only happened after they gave memorable performances as well as big hits. Consistently giving flop films leads to drying up of offers for new films. The year 2018 will be a make or break year for these 8 Bollywood actors:
Kangana Ranaut: Here recent outings like Simran, Katti Batti and Rangoon have been box-office disasters and she'll be seen in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi this year. She will look to retain the title of Queen of Bollywood.
Emraan Hashmi: He hasn't given a hit film since 2012 and has given flops like Baadshaho, Raaz Reboot, Ungli, Mr X and Raja Natwarlal etc. He will star in Captain Nawab this year and will look to deliver a hit.
Sidharth Malhotra: He has had quite a bumpy ride since his hit debut and his recent outings A Gentleman and Ittefaq have flopped at the box-office. He will look to give a hit film this year before producers start worrying about his bankability.
Sonakshi Sinha: The actress has starred in major flops like Noor, Akira and Ittefaq and hasn't seen a box-office hit since 2014's Holiday. She'll look forward to setting the record straight this year.
Vidyut Jammwal: He only appears in action-oriented films and doesn't experiment with his roles. All of his previous outings have flopped at the box-office barring Commando and this year he will be seen in another actioner, titled Junglee. He will hope to give a hit as a leading man before he is struck with supporting role offers.
Tiger Shroff: His previous 2 outings A Flying Jatt and Munna Michael have been box-office disasters. Though he has a couple of films in hand, as a newcomer, the onus is on him to deliver a hit before he fades into oblivion like other star kids.
Saif Ali Khan: He was last seen in a hit film 5 years back and his first release of 2018 Kaalakaandi tanked at the box-office. He'll look forward to Bazaar and deliver a hit before offers start drying up.
Kapil Sharma: He had a forgettable 2017 and his fall from grace became the talk of the town. He will look for a fresh start this year. He is coming back with a TV show and only time will tell whether he has been able to make it or break it.
