9 Bollywood Movies & Their One Liner Takeaways That Became Life Mantras
What did we all learn coming out of Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots that essentially became the ‘most loved’ film of last decade? As much as we laughed and cried through that brilliant piece of cinema, “All is Well” is what everybody kept reciting for as long as we can remember. There are some movies that leave you with its contagious takeaway. A takeaway doesn’t always have to be in a long spread message. Sometimes a word or a line that a film stresses on for us to take note off, ends up becoming the highlight of the film.
So we thought of deriving all those one liners and one word takeaways of movies that in fact became life mantras for us. When you come to think of it, the takeaways of these movies did teach us a lot of things and made us feel how simple things in life can lead to so many unravelling aspects of life.
Here are 9 Bollywood movies & their one liner takeaways that became life mantras:
Munna Bhai MBBS
While most dialogues of this film became a rage back in the day, hugging each other and calling out a ‘Jaadu ki Jhappi’ was really a thing.
My Name Is Khan
As much as this SRK starrer left us spellbound with its deeply sensitive message, the takeaway was in its core dialogue itself.
3 Idiots
Isn’t All Is Well a very applicable life mantra that we all could use a lot? Thanks to Raju Hirani for introducing it to us in 2009.
Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year
While it may not have been able to do any magic at the box office back when it released, the film indeed had a lovely heart and wonderful execution. Considered a real inspiration- here’s what the complete dialogue is- “Har insan mein do tarah ki quality hoti hai, ek upar le jaani wali aur ek neeche. Aur dono mein se jo quality jeet jati hai wo waisi zindagi jee jata hai”
Lage Raho Munna Bhai
Yet another Raju Hirani gem that again had a one word life mantra. The takeaway in fact got so popular that people accepted this as a real dictionary word.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
While it largely narrated how it’s important to make each moment count, ZNMD told us what’s more important – to let all go and live!
PK
Yes, having a Raju Hirani directorial in the list is a trend and the filmmaker does have a tendency to leave us with a one liner takeaway.
Dangal
The highest grossing movie made in the Hindi language, Dangal was synonymous to inspiration. By the time it ended its box office fever, this dialogue was its biggest takeaway. "Mhaari Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kuum Hain Ke?"
Pink
Another riveting movie from last year, Pink was another one of those projects that left a tremendous impact on the society and became the biggest takeaway.
