Check Out The Highest Grossing Bollywood Flops Of 2018
Almost six months have passed and Bollywood seems to be well on its way to erase the memories of a patchy 2017. Starting with the blockbuster success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, Bollywood is currently enjoying the success of Salman Khan's Eid release Race 3, which has grossed more than 100 Crores in its first weekend itself.
While the box-office has recharged itself with some big hit films, a number of films have yet again failed to perform at the box-office. It happens almost every year that very few films are able to become big hits while some films, even if they are good, fail to find the audiences in the theatres. Some big star vehicles of this year as well have failed to perform as the film just weren't good enough or the surrounding buzz wasn't strong enough. Here are the highest grossing flops of 2018:
Blackmail: The Irrfan Khan starrer flopped with collections of 19 Crores.
Aiyaary: The Sidharth Malhotra starrer flopped with collections of 17 Crores in India.
Kaalakaandi: The Saif Ali Khan starrer could manage only 7.5 Crores in India.
1921: The Vikram Bhatt directorial could manage only 15.6 Crores in India.
Mukkabaaz: The Anurag Kashyap directorial collected only 10 Crores in India.
Welcome to New York: The Diljit Dosanjh-Sonakshi Sinha starrer ended its lifetime collections at a mere 3 Crores.
Omerta: The Rajkummar Rao starrer directed by Hansal Mehta collected 3 Crores in India.
Kaala: The Hindi version of Rajinikanth's Kaala flopped with collections of approximately 9 Crores in India.
