Everything You Need To Know About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding
The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Suits star Meghan Markle is set to take place on 19th of May In the United Kingdom. Prince Harry's real name is Henry Charles Albert David and is sixth in the line of succession to the Royal Throne. He served in the British Army and trained at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
He is the younger son of Princess of Wales, Diana, and Prince of Wales, Charles. He has an elder brother Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. The marriage is going to be broadcast on TV as well and there has been a huge interest amongst the media and fans of the Royal couple. A number of leading and influential celebs from all over the world are going to be present at the wedding. Here's everything you need to know about the Royal Wedding:
Venue: The Wedding is going to take place at the St. George's Chapel in the Windsor Castle. The Royal family will pay for the wedding and the venue can accommodate up to 800 guests. TPrince Charle's Wedding in 2005 also took place here.
Cake: A lemon elderflower cake is going to be made by pastry chef Claire Ptak who runs the London based Violet Bakery.
Flowers: The flowers will be provided by Floral designer Philippa Craddock.
Invitation: Here's how the wedding invitation looks like:
Wedding Ceremony: The wedding is expected to take place during midday and will be shown on TV. The reception will take place at St. George's Hall and in the evening, Prince Charles will host a private reception for the newlyweds. Planes won't fly over Windsor Castle during the ceremony.
Dress Code: The dress code includes morning suit or lounge suit for me while a day dress with a hat is the dress code for women. Also, there will be no gifts, mobile phones, medals, and swords.
Bridesmaids, Page Boy and Ushers: There will be no maid of honor for Meghan Markle going by the rules of Royal Family Wedding (no adult bridesmaid). All the bridesmaids will be children and Prince George will be a page boy while Princess Charlotte will be a bridesmaid.
Guestlist: Close friends of the bride and the groom including the Spice Girls, Elton John, George & Amal Clooney, Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney, Misha Nonoo (who set-up the couple) will be there. Princess Diana's 3 siblings will also be there while Meghan's half-siblings have not been invited.
Walking the bride: It was expected that Thomas Markle, Meghan's father will walk her down the aisle but as he suffered a minor heart-attack and underwent a successful surgery yesterday, he won't be present at the wedding and it seems her mother Doria Ragland will give her away.
