Bollywood is the largest producer of films every year, not just in the nation, but in the entire world. Every week of the year has some new releases to offer and many weeks see a clash between two or more films. needless to say, the filmmakers of Bollywood has a scope to offer a lot of different types of content in a movie. While some films are high on the entertainment value, some are more content oriented and offer a plot that is laudable and some have the perfect mix of both.
Now, India and Pakistan also have their own exchange of art. While there have been problems and some are yet to be sorted, Pakistan does release Bollywood and Punjabi films made in India. But then again, there are a number of Bollywood films that do not get a release in Pakistan.

The Akshay Kumar film was lauded for bringing the apparently taboo topic of menstruation into the limelight. While it was very well received in India, it was banned in Pakistan because the Pakistani censor board still considers it a taboo and considered it against their culture to release it.
The Aamir Khan film broke all box-office records, not just in India but also in China but unfortunately was not released in Pakistan. The Pakistani censor board had demanded that the scenes involving the Indian National anthem and the National Flag were cut, but Aamir Khan did not comply with the demands.
The film was banned in Pakistan because the Censor Board felt that it showed Pakistan in a bad light since the highjacking took place in Karachi!
This is one of the best Vishal Bharadwaj film till dates. The film has been appreciated by both the critics and the audiences but was banned by Pakistan since the film was on the subject of Kashmir insurgency!
5. Udta Punjab
This film was also banned in Pakistan due to the excessive use of foul language and for showing usage of drugs.
