Here's Everything You Need To Know About Avengers 4
Avengers: Infinity War is wrecking havoc at the box-office and this superhero juggernaut is only getting stronger day by day as it opens in different new markets. The film has broken almost all the records ever established by previous MCU films and has also become the highest opening weekend grossing superhero film of all time.
It was undoubtedly the most awaited film of the year as the superhero spectacle brought together a galaxy of Hollywood superstars and their superhero onscreen avatars as they battled the mighty mad titan Thanos who posed a serious threat to the existence of life in the universe. The ending of the film also left many in shock as various popular superheroes were killed off. The expectations are sky high from the upcoming sequel Avengers 4 (still untitled) and here are a few things you need to know about it:
Captain Marvel: Brie Larson's Captain Marvel will hit the theatres March next year and will precede Avengers 4. For those of you who don't know it yet, Captain Marvel is one of the strongest and most powerful superheroes to have existed in the universe. She can manipulate energy and as per new comic book storylines, can also see the future. She is going to be the key to defeat Thanos as she's the only one who can withstand him.
Bidding goodbye forever: Key franchise players like Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America will bid goodbye to the next phase of Avengers forever. Even if these characters make an appearance in later films, one thing which is confirmed is that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth won't be seen in future films. As heartbreaking as it sounds, their contracts have finished and Marvel will look to go into the new decade with a new, younger pool of actors.
Thanos' end: The film will also have a definite conclusion to Thanos' storyline as well. While he has acquired all the infinity stones and succeeded in his plan to kill half the population of the universe, it is shown in the end of the film that he has a lot of doubt over what he has done and who has he become. The studio will bring in more powerful and evil villains than Thanos in the next phase.
Ant-Man and Hawkeye: 2 major superheroes who were missing in action in Infinity War and caused a major fan uproar, Hawkeye and Ant-Man will finally get to shine in Avengers 4. Also, Ant-Man and the Wasp is the immediate next release to Infinity War and will deal with complexities of quantum physics and other dimensions which will play a key role in bringing in dead Avengers back.
The Return of the dead: It did shock us but who are we kidding! Guardians, Spider-Man, Black Panther are all set to get their own stand-alone sequels and it doesn't make sense if these are left for dead by the studio. These films have been huge hits at the box-office and they are on their way back thanks to Ant-Man's and Captain Marvel's interdimensional travels and quantum leaps.
New heroes taking over and crossing over: Disney owns the rights to a majority of Marvel's superheroes now and Marvel will be looking forward to introducing its primary characters such as X-Men, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer and Deadpool in the new Avengers' series. The new decade and a new phase of MCU will focus on these characters as well as more powerful villains like Galactus. We may also see future leaders of MCU in Avengers 4.
