Here's Why We Feel That Akshay's Gold Will Triumph Over John's Satyamev Jayte!
This Independence Day, there will be an overdose of patriotism because Bollywood will have two big films release this day. On one side, John Abraham will be back with his dose of action, patriotism and romance to fight corruption in Milap Zaveri's Satyamev Jayate. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar, as usual, will be recreating the 50s and the journey to India's first Gold as a free nation with Reema Kagti's Gold. As the films will take each other head on at the box-office, here is why we feel that Gold will have a better chance at winning:
1. Akshay Kumar is the undisputed king of Independence Day
Akshay Kumar has made Independence Day and Republic Day his own for a long time now. While Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara and Brothers failed, his last two Independence Day releases- Rustom and Toilet:Ek Prem Katha, were a huge box-office success. Needless to say, Akshay Kumar will maintain his success streak this time too.
2. The storyline of Satyamev Jayate has been seen before
The storyline of Satyamev Jayate looked quite similar to Gabbar Is Back where an honest man turns a serial killer because of corruption and loss of a close one. Of course, the audiences might want to watch a new concept than something they might have already seen.
3. The dialogues of Satyamev Jayate are a bummer
"Ab tujhe aisi maut marunga ki tu iss janam me jalega aur dard agle janam tak chalega", "Kanoon ko haath me lene ka haaq sirf kanoon ke haatho ko hota hai"- these are some of the dialogues from the film. Interested still?
4. Reema Kagti has more appeal than Milap Zaveri
Well, Milap Zaveri's has directed films like Mastizaade and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai while Reema Kagti has directed Talaash and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.
5. Mouni Roy too is well known
Mouni Roy has been a popular actress of TV and she has her own appeal whereas Satyamev Jayate actress Aisha Sharma is a newcomer.
So which film are you most excited for?
