The Incredibles 2 Has Already Broken These 5 Records In Its Opening Weekend
In 2004, when Pixar Studios came out with The Incredibles, the film instantly became a modern animated classic and went on to become the 2nd highest grossing animated film of the year with worldwide collections of 633 Million USD. The film was directed by Brad Bird who had already directed the highly acclaimed The Iron Giant in 1999.
The Incredibles soon found its way to the pop culture with fan conventions being held all over the world where the fans would meet and reminisce about the film. A demand for a sequel was always there but Brad Bird said that he would not be directing a just for the sake of it as he didn't want to desecrate the memory of the original. The sequel was released last Friday and will release in India on 22nd June. The film is getting rave reviews from the critics and the audiences and has broken these records:

The 4th highest opening weekend of 2018: The Incredibles has smashed its way to become the 4th highest opening weekend earner of 2018 (worldwide). Ahead of it are The Avengers: Infinity War (640 M USD), Black Panther (371 M USD) and Deadpool 2 (231 M USD).
Highest Earning Animated Film of 2018: The Incredibles 2 has beaten all the animated films which have released in 2018 till now and is now the highest earning animated film of 2018.
