Indian Celebrities Who Should Have Kept Their Hidden Talents Hidden Forever
When it comes to our Bollywood stars, they always inspire awe in us multiple ways. Most of them, apart from being absolute stunners on-screen, are talented individuals in real lives as well.
Alia can croon like a nightingale, Aamir has a knack for chess, Saif can play the guitar like a pro and Kangana is reportedly a master in the art of cooking. Not only these qualities make them even more desirable but also give us a peek into their personalities and hidden talents.
While we are glad that some celebrities gave us the honor of sharing their hidden talents with us, there are some who should have kept the hidden talents just that way…hidden.
Salman Khan
We don’t understand modern art so we won’t comment on Bhai’s artistic abilities and even with tons of autotune ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ was not painful to hear. But we would seriously like to undo the moment in which Salman thought of penning down lyrics. ‘Ek Baar Baby Selfish Hoke Aapne Liye Jio Na’ got us confused whether we should we laugh at the juvenile attempt or cry about the fact that Salman happens to be the son of a writer who penned down Bollywood's biggest hit Sholay. Also, let us not even mention his attempt at story writing that resulted in a certain something names Veer.
Sonakshi Sinha
We tried counting films where Sonakshi Sinha did anything worthwhile and all we could come up was Lootera. So we can understand why she might need a plan B for her career, but can someone please be a lamb and inform her that singing might not be the right path for her. It was difficult to tolerate her voice in Aaj Mood Ishqaholic Hai despite tons of obvious autotune.
Prince Narula
He is a lot of things and no matter how bizarre it is no one can take away the credit from him that he has won three of India’s most popular reality shows including Roadies, Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss. Also, to be honest, he is not bad as the lead in Badho Bahu. So when everything was going so well for him, we don’t know why he thought becoming a singer and releasing a music video to showcase his non-existent musical talent would be a good idea. ‘Burnout Haan Gaddi Meri Maare’ is one of the worst things we have heard this year or any year for that matter.
Bobby Deol
Okay, we don’t make it more embarrassing than it already is so we will keep it short. Bobby Deol flaunted his DJ skills in a nightclub in Delhi and the enraged crowd asked for a refund. Well, we never got ours for films like Thank You, Shaka Laka Boom Boom or Chamku. Does anyone care about that?
Mukul Dev
Don’t fret if you can’t place him instantly. Even though he has been a known face in TV and Bollywood, his biggest achievement is probably romancing Sushmita Sen on-screen in Dastak. He was doing fine with appearances in hit movies like R…Rajkumar and Son Of Sardar, but then he thought writing script would bea good idea. The result was a fabulous performance by Rajkummar Rao and exceptional research by Hansal Mehta going totally down the drain due to his poor script. In case if you have not figured it out yet, we are talking about Omerta for which Mukul Dev wrote the script.
Arjun Rampal
This is one actor who has always confused us. He has time and again bored us to death with disappointing performances only to back it up with amazing performances in films like Rajneeti, Rock On and several others. However, we had no idea that he had the talent of the lack thereof a scriptwriter. Arun Gawli’s biopic Daddy could have been a much better film without Arjun’s incompetent writing.
