2017: December (430.92 Crores)
In 2017, the month of December turned out to be one of the highest grossing years ever as Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai single-handedly earned approx. 339 Crores at the box-office. Also, Fukrey Returns emerged a big hit at the box-office as well and grossed 80 Crores. Apart from these 2, films like Tera Intezaar, Firangi, and Monsoon Shootout also released and the collective earnings of all the films is 430.92 Crores.
2016: December (490.69 Crores)
Aamir Khan's Dangal became the highest grossing Bollywood film ever, both in India and in the world. Also, Ranveer Singh's Befikre earned around 60 Crores as well. Also, Kahaani 2 and Wajah Tum Ho released the same month. The collective gross of this month is 490.69 Crores.
2015: July (412.74 Crores)
Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan was his 2nd collaboration with his Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and the film established various new records at the box-office. Apart from this, Masaan, Guddu Rangeela, Drishyam and Second Hand Husband also released and the collective gross for this month is 412.74 Crores.
2014: October (464.53 Crores)
Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year and Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang were amongst the highest grossing films of the year and Shahid Kapoor's Haider also performed well at the box-office. A couple of small budgeted films release as well and the collective earnings for this month is 464.53 Crores.
2013: November (437.5 Crores)
Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone's Ram Leela and Krrish 3 featuring Hrithik Roshan were 2 of the highest earners of the month. Also, films like Gori Tere Pyar Mein, Bullett Raja, and Singh Saab The Great contributed to the gross of 437.5 Crores as well.
