Twitter Releases The Top 10 Hashtags, And Guess What? Bollywood Is No Where To Be Seen!
The list of the most trending hashtag on Twitter is here and yes, this time regional has won over Bollywood.
Twitter India has released its list of the top 10 hashtags of the year. The hashtags are a means to stay updated and connected about a specific issue. Thanks to the surge of usage, this year 's hashtags were dominated by the South Film Industry. Out of the top 10 trends, Top 7 were related to the South Film Industry. And even within the South Industry, it was the Telugu film industry that has gotten an edge over Tamil film industry. The last two positions were taken by IPL- the hashtags being #WhistlePodu and #IPL2018.
