What! Ishqbaaz, Naamkaran And 3 Other Shows To Go Off Air?

Looks like Star Plus has some big plans to revamp the channel.  Or is it that the channels have finally taken a cue and made the shows finite? We are not sure what is going on but there are some rumours, which if turns true, might break many hearts.

Well, if rumours are to be believed, Star Plus has decided to take 5 major shows of the channel off air. We contacted the producer of one of the shows, who denied these gossips. But the sources are quite reliable and we cannot just rub off the reports. Here is a list of 5 shows that re reportedly soon going off air:

1. Dil Sambhal Ja Zara

Despite being the comeback show of Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor and boasting of a bold subject and strong star cast, the serial failed to make its way up the TRP charts. The last episode of the show will apparently be aired today and the show will go off air!

2. Ishqbaaz

The film has always been one of the most popular new shows of Star Plus. In fact, a spin-off of the show was also started which was ended within three months due to super low TRPs. Looks like now even Ishqbaaz is also gasping for TRPs. Despite so many twists and turns, it has failed to make its way to the TRP charts. And it would be taken off air close to June, according to reports.

3. Naamkaran

The Mahesh Bhatt show started with not such great numbers but post the 15 years leap, it did gain significant popularity. Even though the serial was up on the numbers for some time, it is not fighting for survival. So the channel has decided to end the show, somewhere in June.

4. Ikyawann

The show has just been running for around two months, but the numbers are pretty bad. The makers are hoping to garner some TRPs with the marriage saga, but it is more or less decided that the show will be taken off air.

5. Meri Durga

The show has just completed a year, but the show will be taken off air along with Ishqbaaz and Naamkaran in June!
