There are high hopes from everyone in the film industry that the year 2018 is going to be a hugely profitable year box-office wise and will erase the memories of 2017 which was plagued by underwhelming performers and big-star vehicles which didn't perform well at the box-office. Also, 2018 is also the year when almost every major star will have a release at the box-office.
With every major star coming out with their films and only 52 weeks in a year, there are bound to be clashes as everyone would want their film to have a clear window at the time of its release and a majority of filmmakers would try to avoid clashing with a big star film. Kangana Ranaut V Rajinikanth V Kamal Haasan: Kangana will appear in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi which is scheduled to release on 27th April and the same day will also the release of Rajinikanth starrer Kaala and Kama Haasan starrer Vishwaroopam 2.
Rajkummar Rao V Salman Khan: The actor will be seen in Fanney Khan which will also star Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and he will clash with Salman Khan who will be leading an ensemble cast in Race 3.
Rana Daggubati V Aamir Khan: The actor will appear in multilingual Haathi Mere Saathi which is scheduled to release on 7th November and will clash with Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan.
Vidyut Jammwal V Ajay Devgn: The actor is currently working on an action film titled Junglee which will clash with Ajay Devgn's film with director Akiv Ali and the films will release on 19th October.
Arjun Kapoor V Anil Kapoor & Ajay Devgn: The actor will be seen in romantic-comedy Namaste England in which he will be seen alongside Parineeti Chopra and will also clash with Ajay Devgn & Anil Kapoor's Total Dhamaal.
Sushant Singh Rajput V Shah Rukh Khan: SSR will be seen in Kedarnath which has again resumed shooting after the fight between director and producers was resolved and it still has its release date as 21st December where it will clash with SRK's Zero.
