The duo tied the knot in a hush hush Italy wedding in December 2017 and the world celebrated with them once the news broke out. Virat then went to South Africa to play is first series after getting married and Anushka played the perfect cheer girl for him at home. The Indian cricket team captain posted on Twitter, “Watched #Pari last night, has to be my Wife's best work ever! One of the best films I've seen in a long time. Got quite scared but so very proud of you @AnushkaSharma”
