There is nothing new in Bollywood stars venturing out of their spaces and working in new film industries. We have seen the likes of Satyajit Ray and Irrfan Khan having a worldwide appeal that makes the Hollywood producers and directors fond of them. There have been numerous Hollywood celebrities including directors, actors, producers and writers who have numerous times said that a particular Bollywood celebrity excites and inspires them.

With the expansion of cinematic screens and an increase in the number of films being produced, we see a lot of desi stars going the Hollywood route and making a name for themselves. Here are 5 times when Bollywood celebrities received praise from their Hollywood counterparts:

James Cameron & Aamir Khan- It would be a dream come true if James Cameron, the director of the 2 highest grossing films in the world comes together with Aamir Khan, the actor who has given 2 biggest Bollywood hits worldwide. The director said that he's keen to cast Aamir in one of his films and it was an honour to share the stage with him.

Shah Rukh Khan & Brett Ratner- The actor was in San Francisco where he met the director of X-Men and Rush Hour. Brett asked to write a role for him in his film and said that SRK is Tom Cruise, Jackie Chan, Tom Hanks and The Rock all rolled into one. He has also praised SRk's films over the time.

Irrfan Khan & Ron Howard- The acclaimed Indian actor is on the wishlist of every Hollywood director and Ron Howard, who is known to direct blockbusters like Angels & Demons, Apollo 13 and The Da Vinci Code cast Irrfan in Inferno. he took to Twitter and share that it was an honour to work with Irrfan and he was a joy to work with.

Paul Feig & Karan Johar- The Hollywood director is known for directing hits like Bridesmaids and The Heat. He took to Twitter and showered praises on Karan's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and also praised Karan's Vogue magazine cover and expressed interest in meeting with him. 

Anupam Kher & Robert DeNiro- The Hollywood legend known for his roles in The Godfather 2, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull penned a personal note to Kher when they shared the screen in 2012's Silver Linings Playbook. He told him that he was the perfect fit for the role and expressed desire in meeting again calling him a friend.
