There was no logical reason why A Wednesday! has become such a popular movie that it has become. A typical multiplex move that would only cater to limited strata of the moviegoing audience, this 2008 project was not to become such a phenomenon.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, who nobody knew of that time, this movie's greatness lies in doing the simple things doing correctly. There is nothing outrageously complicated or layered in the film, neither there is some out-of-the-box idea but the execution of it all is where the film's real appeal is.
